BLUEPRINT

A BLUEPRINT of Haematopoietic Epigenomes

Symposium On Network Models In Cellular Regulation

Network Models in Cellular Regulation Zaragoza, Spain, June 1st (a satellite of the International Network Science Conference NetSci2015)
The symposium, co-sponsored by BLUEPRINT, will explore recent advances in understanding the interplay between regulatory network structure, epigenetics and cellular function from three different points of views:
* Regulatory network structure, dynamics on small to large scales, and regulatory network evolution
* Design principles and biological noise in small regulatory circuits
* Epigenetics in cellular regulation – How do epigenetic regulatory mechanisms interface with signalling and transcription to dictate cellular outcomes?
The meeting will feature selected abstract presentations (submit before April 5th) and it will finish with a panel discussion on the future of mechanistic modeling in biology:
Invited Speakers (confirmed):- Dr. Sebastian Ahnert (Royal Society University Research Fellow, Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, King’s College, Cambridge)
– Dr. GГЎbor BalГЎzsi (Laufer Center for Physical and Quantitative Biology, Biomedical Engineering Department, Stony Brook University, New York)
– Dr. Florian Buettner (The EMBL-European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), Cambridge)
– Dr. Guillaume Filion (Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), Barcelona)
